Kestra Raises $25M to Scale Open-Source Orchestration

Kestra, an open-source orchestration platform, has secured a $25 million Series A funding round led by global venture firm RTP Global. The investment follows a compelling pitch that highlighted how the company’s technology unifies data, AI, infrastructure, and business workflows into a single operational layer.

A Unified Platform for Modern Data and AI Operations

The core promise of Kestra is to give engineering, data, and operations teams one platform to manage complex, distributed workflows. By combining data pipelines, AI model orchestration, and infrastructure automation, the company aims to reduce the sprawling toolchains that typically slow down digital initiatives.

Built as an open-source project, Kestra allows organizations to standardize how they schedule, monitor, and govern critical workloads. This approach is designed to support everything from batch data processing and real-time event handling to the deployment and monitoring of AI models in production.

Why RTP Global Backed Kestra

Investors at RTP Global were particularly drawn to the platform’s ability to bridge the gap between data engineering, machine learning operations (MLOps), and DevOps. By offering a unified orchestration layer, Kestra positions itself as a strategic tool for enterprises seeking to industrialize AI and analytics while maintaining strong governance and reliability.

The fresh capital will enable Kestra to expand product development, strengthen its open-source community, and accelerate go-to-market efforts with enterprise customers that need scalable, cloud-native orchestration.

Rising Demand for Orchestration in the AI Era

As organizations deploy more AI-powered applications and data-intensive services, the need for robust workflow orchestration has become critical. Platforms like Kestra are emerging as foundational infrastructure, helping companies coordinate thousands of interdependent tasks across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

With this Series A round led by RTP Global, Kestra is positioned to compete more aggressively in the orchestration market and to play a central role in how enterprises operationalize data and AI at scale.
