Vectrix team working on transport automation software in an Antwerp office

Vectrix secures €1.15M to automate transport operations

Vectrix lands fresh capital to streamline transport operations

Antwerp-based startup Vectrix has raised €1.15 million to accelerate the development of its automation platform for transport and logistics operations. The funding will enable the company to expand its product, strengthen its engineering team and scale deployments with European mobility and logistics providers.

Building the automation layer for modern logistics

Vectrix is developing an infrastructure layer that connects fragmented tools, data streams and workflows used in day-to-day transport management. Instead of operators juggling multiple systems for planning, dispatching, tracking and reporting, the startup offers a unified automation engine that orchestrates these processes in the background.

By integrating with existing transport management systems, fleet management platforms and telematics solutions, the company aims to reduce manual work, cut errors and improve asset utilisation. Its software uses configurable rules and workflow automation to handle repetitive tasks such as route updates, customer notifications, document handling and incident escalation.

Targeting efficiency and resilience in transport

European logistics operators continue to face margin pressure, driver shortages and rising operational complexity. The team at Vectrix argues that an automation-first layer can help companies respond faster to disruptions, while maintaining service quality for shippers and end customers.

The newly raised €1.15 million will be invested in product development, integrations with additional partners and go-to-market activities across key European transport hubs. The company plans to deepen its capabilities in areas such as real-time operations monitoring, exception management and data-driven optimisation.

Positioning within the European transport tech ecosystem

With this round, Vectrix joins a growing wave of European startups focused on digitising and automating the backbone of physical transport. Rather than replacing existing systems, its strategy is to sit on top of them as an orchestration layer, giving operators more control and visibility without forcing a full technology overhaul.

As logistics and mobility providers look to stabilise costs and increase resilience, investor interest in automation technologies that unlock incremental efficiency is expected to remain strong. Vectrix aims to position itself as a key infrastructure player in that emerging stack.

This sounds like a smart move for the transport industry—automation can really help reduce the chaos of managing multiple systems. Looking forward to seeing how Vectrix’s platform improves efficiency for logistics providers across Europe.
