Female-led UK startup Qflow lands €2.3M from Autodesk
UK-based, female-led construction data startup Qflow has secured a strategic investment of €2.3 million from design and engineering software giant Autodesk. The funding will support the company’s mission to modernise the construction sector with real-time data, helping contractors cut waste, reduce embodied carbon and stay compliant on complex projects.
Digitising one of the world’s least digital industries
Qflow focuses on capturing and analysing data on materials and waste as they move through construction sites. Using mobile tools and cloud-based data analytics, the platform automatically records delivery tickets, waste transfers and compliance documents, turning previously manual paperwork into structured, searchable information.
This enables project teams to track carbon emissions, verify that materials meet specification, and identify cost and schedule risks early. In an industry still dominated by spreadsheets and paper records, Qflow’s approach aims to bring the construction supply chain into the era of digital transformation.
Strategic backing from Autodesk
The investment from Autodesk is described as strategic, signalling deeper collaboration between the two companies. Autodesk’s widely used tools in architecture, engineering and construction, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms, could benefit from Qflow’s on-site, real-time material and waste data.
By aligning Qflow’s field intelligence with Autodesk’s design and project management ecosystem, contractors can gain a more accurate picture of how projects perform against sustainability targets, budgets and regulatory requirements.
Empowering female leadership in construction tech
Construction technology remains a male-dominated sector, making Qflow’s female-led founding team notable. The fresh capital will help the company grow its engineering and commercial teams, expand across the UK and Europe, and enhance integrations with existing construction management platforms.
With regulators, investors and clients placing mounting pressure on the built environment to decarbonise, solutions like Qflow are increasingly critical. The partnership with Autodesk positions the startup to play a central role in making construction more transparent, efficient and sustainable.
