Move To Happiness secures fresh capital for AI wellbeing push

Belgian healthtech startup Move To Happiness has raised €1 million to accelerate the growth of its AI-powered platform, which connects employee wellbeing data with measurable organisational performance. The funding will be used to deepen product development, strengthen data capabilities and expand into new European markets.

Founded to tackle rising levels of workplace stress, burnout and absenteeism, Move To Happiness offers companies a digital platform that combines wellbeing analytics, personalised coaching and actionable insights for HR and leadership teams. By aggregating anonymised data on mental, physical and social health, the startup aims to show how wellbeing directly impacts productivity, retention and business outcomes.

AI links wellbeing metrics to business results

At the core of the platform are proprietary AI algorithms that analyse employee engagement, health indicators and participation in wellbeing programmes. The system then correlates these metrics with key HR KPIs such as turnover, absenteeism and performance scores, giving organisations a clearer picture of their return on investment in wellbeing initiatives.

Through a personalised app experience, employees gain access to digital coaching, micro-learning content, movement and mindfulness exercises, and regular check-ins. For employers, the platform provides dashboards and reports that support evidence-based decisions on workplace wellbeing strategies, budget allocation and leadership training.

Scaling across Europe amid rising demand

The €1 million round will enable Move To Happiness to scale its technology infrastructure, enhance its data privacy and security framework, and integrate more deeply with existing HR tech and people analytics tools. The company is also planning to grow its sales and customer success teams to support mid-sized and large enterprises across Europe.

With employers under increasing pressure to address mental health, hybrid work challenges and talent retention, demand for science-based, measurable wellbeing solutions is rising. By positioning itself at the intersection of digital health, AI and human resources, Move To Happiness is betting that the future of work will be driven by organisations that can prove the business value of caring for their people.
