Golden Owl raises €1.4M to power anticipatory intelligence

Alicante-based DeepTech startup Golden Owl has secured a €1.4 million Seed funding round to accelerate development of its anticipatory intelligence operating system, a platform designed to help organizations predict and respond to change before it happens.

A new operating system for predictive decision-making

The company is building an end-to-end anticipatory intelligence layer that can be embedded into existing enterprise tools. By combining advanced AI algorithms, large-scale data ingestion and real-time analytics, Golden Owl aims to give businesses early warning signals about market shifts, operational risks and emerging opportunities.

The operating system is designed for sectors where timing and foresight are critical, including finance, supply chain management, cybersecurity and public sector planning. Instead of only reporting what has already happened, the platform focuses on forecasting likely scenarios and recommending proactive actions.

Funding to deepen tech and expand globally

The €1.4 million Seed round will be used to strengthen the company’s core technology stack, expand its team of data scientists and engineers, and accelerate pilot projects with early enterprise customers. The startup plans to invest heavily in model robustness, explainability and compliance to meet growing regulatory expectations around AI governance.

Part of the capital will also support international go-to-market efforts, with Golden Owl targeting innovation-driven corporates across Europe and beyond. The company sees rising demand for tools that move organizations from reactive reporting to truly predictive, scenario-based planning.

Spain’s DeepTech ecosystem gains momentum

The funding round underscores the growing maturity of Spain’s DeepTech landscape, particularly in regions outside traditional hubs like Madrid and Barcelona. Alicante, long known as a tourism destination, is increasingly positioning itself as a base for high-tech ventures specializing in data analytics, machine learning and enterprise software.

With fresh capital and a sharpened product roadmap, Golden Owl is aiming to become a reference point in the emerging field of anticipatory intelligence, helping organizations turn uncertainty into a strategic advantage.
