Einklang Raises €2.2M to Tackle Soaring Power Costs for SMEs
German energy startup Einklang has secured a €2.2 million funding round to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) cut their electricity bills by up to 40%. The fresh capital will be used to scale its digital platform, which combines energy data analytics, smart procurement and demand-side management for business customers across Europe.
A Data-Driven Platform for Cheaper, Cleaner Power
Einklang targets a growing pain point for SMEs: volatile power markets, complex tariffs and limited in-house expertise. Its cloud-based software connects to existing meters and building systems, collecting real-time consumption data. Using proprietary AI algorithms, the platform identifies inefficiencies, recommends operational changes and automates the switch to more favorable electricity contracts.
The startup’s tools also support the integration of renewable energy sources and on-site assets such as solar PV, battery storage and electric vehicle charging. By coordinating when and how these assets are used, Einklang helps companies reduce grid dependency and shift consumption to cheaper hours, directly lowering monthly bills.
Supporting Europe’s Energy Transition for Businesses
Energy-intensive SMEs in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics and retail have been hit hardest by recent spikes in electricity prices. Many lack the resources to negotiate complex contracts or invest in advanced optimization technology. Einklang positions itself as an outsourced energy partner, offering a subscription-based model that aims to deliver rapid, measurable savings without heavy upfront investment.
The new funding will enable the company to expand its engineering and sales teams, deepen integrations with energy suppliers and grid operators, and enter additional European markets where SMEs face similar cost pressures. By combining digital tools with expert advisory services, Einklang seeks to make professional-grade energy management accessible to smaller businesses that have traditionally been underserved.
As Europe accelerates its shift to decentralized, low-carbon power systems, solutions like Einklang are emerging as critical enablers, ensuring that SMEs can remain competitive while contributing to broader climate and energy-efficiency targets.
