Axiology closes €5 million round for tokenised markets push

Lithuanian fintech startup Axiology has raised €5 million to accelerate the development of its tokenised capital markets platform, aiming to modernise how securities are issued, traded and settled across Europe.

The fresh funding will support product development, regulatory approvals and early market rollout as Axiology positions itself at the intersection of blockchain technology and traditional financial markets.

Building infrastructure for tokenised securities

Axiology is developing a technology stack designed to enable the issuance and lifecycle management of tokenised assets such as equities, bonds and alternative investments. By using distributed ledger infrastructure, the company aims to reduce friction in post-trade settlement, cut operational costs and increase transparency for both issuers and investors.

The platform is expected to integrate with existing capital markets infrastructure, providing tools for compliance, KYC/AML checks and reporting. This approach is intended to help financial institutions and regulated intermediaries adopt digital securities without abandoning their current workflows.

Regulation-first strategy in Europe

Operating from Lithuania, a growing hub for fintech and digital assets, Axiology is pursuing a regulation-first strategy aligned with the EU’s evolving framework for crypto-assets and tokenised financial instruments. The company plans to work closely with regulators and licensed partners to ensure that tokenised issuance and trading remain fully compliant with European rules.

With institutional investors increasingly exploring tokenisation as a way to unlock liquidity and streamline access to private and public markets, Axiology aims to provide the underlying infrastructure that can support large-scale adoption. The new capital will be used to expand the team, enhance platform security and onboard early institutional clients.

As European capital markets look for ways to increase efficiency and competitiveness, Axiology is betting that regulated tokenised assets will become a core component of the region’s financial architecture.
