Audicin raises €1.6M to rewire stress recovery

Finnish startup Audicin has secured a €1.6 million funding round to integrate nervous-system recovery tools directly into consumer wearables and health apps. The round is backed by an Oura co-founder and national innovation agency Business Finland, underscoring growing investor confidence in science-led mental recovery technologies.

From tracking stress to actively restoring balance

While most wellness devices focus on monitoring heart rate variability, sleep quality and stress levels, Audicin aims to move a step further by offering active nervous-system recovery. Its technology combines evidence-based audio stimulation, guided breathing exercises and real-time biofeedback to help users shift from a fight-or-flight state into physiological calm.

The company is designing its platform to plug into existing wearables and mobile health apps, enabling partners to offer personalized recovery sessions based on real-time biometric data. By translating sensor data into adaptive audio and micro-interventions, Audicin targets professionals, athletes and high-stress workers who need structured ways to reset during demanding days.

Strategic backing from Oura co-founder and Business Finland

Participation from an Oura co-founder brings deep expertise in sensor technology, user engagement and global go-to-market strategy in the digital health sector. Support from Business Finland adds public innovation capital and credibility, helping Audicin accelerate research partnerships with universities and healthcare providers.

The fresh capital will be used to refine AI-driven personalization, expand clinical validation of its nervous-system recovery protocols, and build integrations with leading wearable platforms. The startup is also expected to invest in regulatory and data-protection frameworks to meet stringent European standards for health data and privacy.

Rising demand for nervous-system aware tech

As chronic stress, burnout and anxiety rise globally, investors are increasingly backing tools that address the autonomic nervous system rather than just tracking symptoms. With this funding round, Audicin positions itself at the intersection of neuroscience, sound therapy and wearable technology, aiming to make nervous-system recovery a built-in feature of everyday digital devices rather than a niche wellness add-on.
