Audicin raises €1.6 million to tackle nervous system overload

Female-founded Finnish startup Audicin has secured a €1.6 million funding round to advance its science-based audio treatments designed to calm an overstimulated nervous system. The capital will be used to strengthen product development, deepen clinical validation and expand internationally from the company’s Nordic base.

A science-led approach to therapeutic audio

Audicin is developing structured, evidence-informed audio treatments aimed at people suffering from chronic stress, burnout and sensory overload. Unlike generic wellness playlists, the startup’s sessions are built around principles from neuroscience, psychology and sound therapy, with content tailored to support the body’s autonomic nervous system and promote recovery.

The platform guides users through curated audio programs that combine soundscapes, voice and rhythm to help regulate stress responses and reduce physiological arousal. The company is positioning its service as a bridge between traditional mental health tools and everyday consumer wellness apps, with the ambition of delivering clinically credible yet accessible support.

Female founders targeting a global stress epidemic

Led by a female founding team, Audicin is responding to rising global concern over chronic stress, burnout and nervous system overstimulation linked to constant connectivity and information overload. The startup sees a growing demand from both individuals and employers for non-invasive, scalable tools that can be integrated into daily routines at home or in the workplace.

The new funding will enable the company to refine its digital health platform, run further outcome studies and build partnerships with healthcare providers and corporate wellness programs. As competition intensifies in the broader mental health technology and digital therapeutics space, Audicin aims to differentiate through robust scientific grounding, a focus on the nervous system, and a product strategy that blends clinical insight with consumer-grade usability.

With fresh capital and growing awareness of stress-related health issues, the Finnish startup is positioning itself as a notable Nordic player in the emerging field of targeted audio-based interventions.
