Office workers using SolveAI no-code platform to design enterprise applications on laptops in a modern workspace

SolveAI raises $50M to let non‑devs build enterprise apps

SolveAI secures major funding to democratise enterprise app building

SolveAI, a fast‑growing platform that helps non‑technical staff build production‑grade enterprise tools, has raised $50 million in fresh capital from investors including GV (formerly Google Ventures) and Accel. The round underscores surging demand for no‑code and low‑code solutions that can keep pace with complex corporate workflows without relying solely on scarce developer resources.

A no‑code engine for complex business workflows

The core promise of SolveAI is to let operations, finance, and business teams design and launch secure, scalable applications through a visual interface powered by AI automation. Instead of submitting tickets to engineering, users can assemble data models, approval flows, and integrations with existing systems using drag‑and‑drop components and natural‑language prompts.

According to the company, the platform enforces enterprise‑grade standards around security, governance, and compliance, aiming to avoid the shadow IT problems that often accompany unsanctioned tools and spreadsheets. Role‑based access controls, audit trails, and centralized deployment policies allow IT teams to supervise what business users build, while still giving them autonomy to iterate quickly.

Backers bet on the future of non‑developer tooling

With participation from both GV and Accel, the funding round places SolveAI among a select group of platforms trying to redefine how large organisations ship internal software. The investment will be used to expand engineering, deepen integrations with major SaaS and cloud providers, and accelerate go‑to‑market efforts in North America and Europe.

Industry analysts note that enterprises are under pressure to digitise processes while controlling costs and addressing a global shortage of experienced developers. Tools like SolveAI promise to close that gap by turning subject‑matter experts into application builders, while still aligning with IT standards.

Implications for the enterprise software landscape

The rise of AI‑assisted, no‑code platforms is reshaping the traditional build‑versus‑buy equation. Instead of purchasing rigid off‑the‑shelf products or commissioning long custom‑development cycles, companies can assemble tailored solutions on top of a governed platform. If SolveAI executes on its roadmap, the boundary between business user and software developer could become increasingly blurred in the enterprise environment.
