BeyondMath raises €8.4 million to scale generative physics

UK DeepTech startup BeyondMath has secured €8.4 million in fresh funding to accelerate development of its generative physics platform, positioning itself at the intersection of advanced simulation, AI models and industrial R&D.

The round, led by specialist DeepTech and enterprise investors, will support the company’s expansion across Europe and the US, as well as targeted hiring in physics, machine learning and high‑performance computing. The funding underscores growing investor confidence in tools that can radically shorten the time needed to model complex real‑world systems.

Blending physics engines with generative AI

BeyondMath develops a platform that fuses traditional physics simulation with generative AI, enabling engineers and scientists to explore millions of design and process variations in silico before committing to costly experiments.

Instead of relying solely on conventional numerical solvers, the startup trains AI models on large datasets of physical behaviours, allowing the system to propose new configurations, materials or operating conditions that still respect fundamental physical laws. This approach is designed to cut simulation times from days to minutes while maintaining scientific rigour.

Targeting R&D-heavy industries

The company is initially focusing on sectors where computational physics and accurate modelling are mission‑critical, including aerospace, automotive, energy and advanced manufacturing. By integrating with existing CAE and HPC workflows, BeyondMath aims to become a core layer in digital R&D stacks, helping teams optimise designs, reduce material usage and lower failure rates.

Investors view generative physics as a natural next step after the rapid adoption of generative AI in language and imagery. Where text and image models transformed content creation, platforms like BeyondMath seek to transform how physical products and systems are conceived, tested and validated.

Building a DeepTech powerhouse in the UK

The new capital will be used to deepen the company’s research partnerships with universities and industrial labs, expand its cloud‑based platform, and strengthen security and governance features for enterprise clients.

With this raise, BeyondMath reinforces the UK’s ambition to be a global hub for DeepTech, leveraging local strengths in physics, mathematics and AI research to compete with US and Asian innovation clusters.
