Eka Ventures secures fresh capital for impact-driven tech

London-based venture capital firm Eka Ventures has announced the close of a new fund dedicated to backing founders building technologies across life, health and sustainability. The fund strengthens the firm’s position as a specialist investor in early-stage companies addressing structural challenges in consumer health, climate resilience and resource efficiency.

Focus on life, health and sustainability innovation

Eka Ventures targets startups that combine scalable digital products with measurable positive impact. The firm typically invests at the seed and Series A stages, supporting founders who are developing solutions in areas such as preventive healthcare, digital therapeutics, circular economy platforms, and low-carbon consumer technologies.

By concentrating on these verticals, the fund aims to back businesses that can both deliver venture-scale returns and contribute to long-term improvements in quality of life and environmental outcomes. The strategy reflects growing investor appetite for impact investing and mission-driven entrepreneurship in the UK and across Europe.

Backing founders with long-term capital and expertise

The new fund will allow Eka Ventures to lead and co-lead rounds, providing not only capital but also operational support on go-to-market strategy, regulatory navigation in health-related sectors, and ESG and impact measurement frameworks. The firm positions itself as a hands-on partner for founders tackling complex, highly regulated or science-driven markets.

Strengthening the UK and European startup ecosystem

With London as its base, Eka Ventures plans to continue investing primarily in the UK while selectively backing promising teams across Europe. The fund’s focus on health and sustainability aligns with broader policy priorities around climate transition, public health and digital transformation. As more institutional investors look for exposure to high-growth, impact-oriented technology, the close of this fund underscores the momentum behind specialised European venture capital platforms.
