Pickmybrain team in Tallinn working on AI-powered Digital Brains platform for experts and celebrities

Pickmybrain raises €1.8 million to scale AI ‘Digital Brains’ platform

Tallinn-based startup Pickmybrain has secured a €1.8 million pre-seed round to accelerate the development of its AI-powered “Digital Brains” for celebrities, experts and public figures. The funding will be used to expand the team, enter new markets and enhance the company’s proprietary AI models.

The round was backed by notable business angels, including longevity and BioTech investor Garri Zmudze, an early backer of Insilico Medicine, alongside Raison.app and several undisclosed investors. The deal underlines growing investor interest in tools that help individuals package and monetize their knowledge using AI-powered platforms.

Turning human expertise into scalable AI assets

Founded by Sergei Verbitski, Pickmybrain is building personalised AI assistants trained on a specific person’s insights, content and professional track record. These “Digital Brains” aim to let fans, clients and followers interact with an expert’s knowledge on demand, without requiring constant one‑to‑one availability.

Sergei Verbitski argues that the technology reframes the debate around automation and jobs. Instead of replacing professionals, the platform is designed to create new revenue streams by allowing experts to license and monetise their accumulated know-how in a structured, scalable format. He compares the model to how creator platforms enabled new forms of digital income, but with a focus on interactive expertise rather than static content.

New opportunities for creators, consultants and public figures

The company is targeting a wide spectrum of users, from celebrities and influencers to consultants, coaches and niche specialists. By combining AI algorithms with curated training data supplied by each expert, Pickmybrain aims to maintain the original voice, style and domain depth of its human counterpart while providing instant, 24/7 access.

With fresh capital in hand, the Tallinn startup plans to refine its technology stack, strengthen data-governance and privacy features, and roll out pilots in key English-speaking and European markets. As demand grows for trustworthy, human-aligned AI assistants, Pickmybrain is positioning its “Digital Brains” as a new layer in the creator and expert economy.
