European Deeptech Week 2026 Heads to Paris

The European innovation ecosystem is set to converge in Paris as the European Deeptech Week takes place from 16 to 20 March 2026. Organised by Bpifrance in collaboration with INSKIP and other European partners, the event aims to accelerate the growth of high-impact technologies emerging from research labs and advanced engineering.

A Pan-European Platform for Deep Technology

The initiative positions Paris as a central hub for deeptech — startups and scale-ups built on breakthrough scientific advances in areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, advanced materials, biotech and climate tech. By bringing together founders, researchers, investors and policymakers, the event seeks to turn cutting-edge research into scalable, market-ready solutions.

Bpifrance, France’s national investment bank, has been a key supporter of innovation and technology transfer, while INSKIP is recognised for its work helping corporates and institutions collaborate effectively with startups. Their partnership underlines a shared ambition to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness in strategic technologies.

Focus on Funding, Scaling and Industrial Adoption

Across the five days, attendees can expect conferences, matchmaking sessions, pitch events and thematic workshops. Discussions will focus on securing venture capital for science-based startups, building resilient industrial partnerships, navigating European regulation, and attracting top international talent.

By engaging both public and private stakeholders, European Deeptech Week aims to close the gap between laboratory breakthroughs and large-scale industrial deployment. The event also highlights Europe’s ambition to lead in strategic technologies while reinforcing its innovation sovereignty.

Strengthening Europe’s Innovation Ecosystem

With Paris as its stage, the 2026 edition is expected to draw participants from across the continent, creating new cross-border collaborations and investment opportunities. For founders and researchers working at the frontier of science, the gathering offers visibility, access to capital and direct contact with industrial partners ready to test and adopt new solutions.

As deep technology increasingly shapes sectors from healthcare to energy and mobility, initiatives like European Deeptech Week are becoming central to Europe’s long-term economic and technological strategy.
