DentalMonitoring secures major funding to fuel global AI growth

Paris-based DentalMonitoring, a pioneer in AI-powered remote orthodontic monitoring, has raised €84 million in fresh funding to accelerate its international expansion and deepen product development. The new capital underscores growing investor confidence in digital tools that are reshaping the orthodontics and wider dental care market.

Founded in France, DentalMonitoring has built a platform that allows dentists and orthodontists to track treatment progress remotely using patients’ smartphone images. Its proprietary AI algorithms analyze these images to detect tooth movement, appliance issues and potential complications, enabling clinicians to intervene earlier while reducing in-person visits.

AI-driven remote care reshapes orthodontics

The company’s technology is designed to support a range of treatments, from clear aligners to traditional braces. Patients use a mobile app and a dedicated scanning accessory to capture regular images of their teeth. These are automatically assessed by DentalMonitoring’s software, which flags clinically relevant events and prioritizes cases that require attention.

For clinics, the platform promises higher treatment efficiency, better patient adherence and improved chair-time management. For patients, it offers more flexible care, fewer appointments and closer monitoring between visits. As demand for aesthetic dentistry and remote healthcare grows, such tools are increasingly seen as strategic infrastructure for modern practices.

Funding to support expansion and product innovation

The €84 million round will be used to strengthen the company’s footprint in key markets including Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. DentalMonitoring plans to invest in sales and customer support teams, as well as in further enhancing its machine learning models and clinical workflows.

Industry observers note that regulatory scrutiny and data privacy remain central challenges for AI in healthcare. DentalMonitoring emphasizes that its platform is built around strict data protection standards and is designed to integrate with existing clinical protocols rather than replace professional judgment.

With this latest funding, the Paris-based scale-up is positioning itself as a global reference point for remote dental monitoring, aiming to become an essential layer in the digital infrastructure of modern orthodontic care.
