Naboo secures $70M from Lightspeed to scale AI events in US

Naboo raises $70M to power AI-driven corporate events

European events technology startup Naboo has secured a $70 million funding round led by global venture firm Lightspeed, as it prepares an aggressive push into the US market. The company positions itself as an AI-powered events platform for corporate teams, simplifying the way businesses plan, book, and measure team offsites, retreats, and internal events.

Lightspeed backs Naboo’s US expansion strategy

The latest round, led by Lightspeed with participation from existing and new investors, will be used to accelerate product development, strengthen AI capabilities, and build commercial teams in North America. The investment underscores growing investor confidence in software that can automate complex, high-cost workflows in the corporate events and travel sectors.

With the fresh capital, Naboo aims to become the default platform for companies managing hybrid and distributed teams that still need in-person gatherings to build culture, align strategy, and drive performance. The startup plans to scale its supplier network, expand integrations with HR and collaboration tools, and introduce more advanced AI algorithms for budget optimization and experience personalization.

AI at the center of event planning

Naboo uses AI-driven recommendations to match companies with venues, activities, and logistics partners based on budget, team size, location, and objectives. Its platform centralizes discovery, booking, contracts, and payments, while providing analytics on employee engagement and event ROI. This approach targets a market traditionally dominated by manual planning, agencies, and fragmented tools.

For investors like Lightspeed, the opportunity lies in digitizing and automating a large, recurring spend category. As enterprises reassess how they bring people together in a post-pandemic, remote-first environment, demand is rising for software that can make events more measurable, efficient, and aligned with company culture.

Positioning as Europe’s AI events leader, with eyes on the US

Already recognized as one of Europe’s leading AI event platforms, Naboo is now focusing on building brand awareness and local operations in the United States. The company is targeting high-growth technology firms and global enterprises that run frequent offsites and team gatherings. With substantial backing from Lightspeed, Naboo is set to compete with both traditional agencies and newer SaaS players aiming to modernize corporate events.
