Vesiro raises €1.6M to supercharge enterprise search

Swedish startup Vesiro has secured €1.6 million in fresh funding to accelerate development of its AI-powered search plugin, designed to make internal knowledge discovery up to three times faster for businesses drowning in documents, chats and tickets.

The early-stage company targets organisations that rely on complex knowledge bases spread across tools such as email, shared drives and collaboration platforms. By plugging into existing systems, Vesiro uses advanced AI algorithms and semantic search to surface answers, not just documents, cutting the time employees spend hunting for information.

AI plugin promises 3x faster results

Unlike traditional keyword-based tools, Vesiro‘s plugin focuses on understanding the intent behind a query. It ingests and indexes a company’s internal content, then uses natural language processing and vector search to deliver context-aware responses directly inside the applications staff already use.

According to the startup, early pilots show that support, sales and engineering teams can resolve queries significantly faster, easing pressure on overloaded help desks and reducing duplicated work. The company positions its product as a lightweight alternative to building a full custom AI assistant, while still offering enterprise-grade data security and access controls.

Positioning in Europe’s fast-growing AI tooling market

With the new capital, Vesiro plans to expand its engineering team, deepen integrations with major workplace platforms and invest in scalable cloud infrastructure. The startup is also expected to push into new European markets, targeting mid-sized and large enterprises that are under pressure to boost productivity without expanding headcount.

As companies adopt generative AI tools at speed, the race is on to connect these systems to proprietary data safely and efficiently. By focusing on a focused, plugin-based approach to enterprise search, Vesiro aims to become a critical layer between corporate knowledge silos and the new wave of intelligent workplace applications.
